Djembe Masterclass

West African Djembe masterclass for those who own their own djembe and can follow the tuition live online. The tutor will be N’famady Kouyaté, master musician and
griot, from Guinea, Conakry. The focal rhythm he will be teaching during this session will be. Kankamba from Upper Guinea, a traditional Malinké rhythm.
This workshop is being delivered as part of Adult Learners’ Week Wales in partnership with the Learning and Work Institute. This session will be delivered live via The Successors of the Mandingue Facebook and YouTube pages.
The session will include comfort breaks and BSL and Welsh interpretation is available on request. Learners are encouraged to comment and feedback throughout the session to get the most out of this learning opportunity.
